Obituary for Carol A. Davis

Carol A. Davis
Carol A. (Sullivan) Davis, age 85, of Northborough died peacefully in the presence of her family on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph A. and Catherine H. (Germain) Sullivan, Carol graduated from Main South High School in Worcester and received a Nursing Degree from the Saint Vincent School of Nursing. She dedicated her career to healthcare until her retirement while working at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed spending time in her garden. She always believed that working with your hands in the dirt was good for your heart. Over the years she developed amazing knowledge and created a beautiful, prize winning garden. The state of Maine was her favorite get away place. She loved to travel throughout the state, but in particular along the seashore, with her favorite destination being the Atlantic Hotel in Wells. Most of all, Carol was happiest when she was in the company of her family. Family gatherings were sure to put a smile on her face, especially when her grandchildren were at the gatherings.

Carol is survived by her children Lynn Davis, Scott Davis, Christopher Davis; sister Maureen Drapeau; grandchildren Nicholas Vaskas, and Mariah Vaskas. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert Sullivan, Mark Sullivan, and Joseph Sullivan.

Carol’s family will honor her wishes of having her services held privately.
