Condolence: I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad and my dear friend. I was so sad to hear Captain Jack has sailed. We joined the program and Beechill together in 1983. Calling Jack always meant a joke, a huge laugh but a finish with an I love you. He was a very good man with a heart of gold. He loved the ocean and when I stayed at his place he taught me to fish for stripers off the shore. He helped so many people in the program and treated them all with grave. Even when he worked with ex cons they were "just sick people trying to get better. I envied his beach meetings on the sunset. He was like another father for me, his calls were my landline for AA and more. I will always hear his voice and the compassion to me and so many more. He was proud of his children and his grandchildren he expressed his love for the next generation. I cannot imagine the world without Jack he truly was one of the best people I ever met. May his journey be filled with the sound of the sea and a smile on his face that he is truly home.
