I was a student at Mahopac High School and a student who studied art under Tony. It was his encouragement that led to my attending Parson’s School of Design and becoming a graphic designer and later an art director.

I had visited with Tony while he lived in Somers. He was a remarkable man who influenced many of his students.

I remember spending hours with him during free periods creating sculptures, pottery, jewelry and many silkscreen prints.

He will be missed.

My sympathies go out to his family members.
