Doreen A. (Archambault) Setaro, 53, lifelong Worcester resident, passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent Hospital on Monday, November 9, 2020, after being stricken ill at home. She was the wife of Robert P. Setaro and daughter of the late Roger F. and Shirley F. (Sampson) Archambault.
Doreen was born in Worcester on Friday, May 12, 1967 and graduated from Worcester South High School. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping with friends, playing with her dogs, and enjoying days at the lake, and the beaches of Charlestown, RI.
Along with her husband and parents, Doreen leaves her son, Sean M. Keane; her sisters, Maureen Archambault of Florida and Sharon Kurowski of New Hampshire; her brother-in-law, Steven Setaro and wife Janice, and their children, Jenny, Michael, and Greg, of Worcester; and her best friends, Donna Jandrow of Worcester, Mary Ellen Lamby of Worcester, and Kim Longvall of Worcester, who was Doreen’s kidney donor. Doreen also leaves uncles, aunts, numerous cousins, and her Chihuahua “Ruby.”
Doreen’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA. Those attending the funeral Mass are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing face coverings, and social distancing will be followed.
