Obituary for Bruce R. Aubuchont

Bruce R. Aubuchont, 74, longtime Auburn resident, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2020 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Earline M. (Sisco) Aubuchont, in 2014.

Born in Worcester and raised in Auburn, Bruce was one of six children born to the late Rudolph E. Aubuchont, Sr. and Ethel M. (Whiting) Aubuchont. He attended Auburn schools and Worcester Boys Trade, prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Bruce served for the next four years and was honorably discharged in 1967; then transferred to Naval Reserves. He then began an extensive career in the trucking industry, from which he retired after forty years of dedicated work.

Bruce was known for his love for and expansive knowledge of cars and movies. His family and friends will remember him as being a “Motorhead.”

Bruce is survived by his seven children; eleven grandchildren; his siblings: Mark P. “Pete” Aubuchont and his wife Phyllis, Donnalee Knightly and her husband Merton, Marcia Davis, Susan Cloutier and her husband Ronald; as well as sister-in-law Cheryl Aubuchont. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Bruce’s wishes, there will be no services.
