Obituary for Patricia M. Strong (Hopkins)
Patricia M. (Hopkins) Strong, 70, longtime Auburn resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her loving daughters, Pamela A. Strong-Rocheleau and her husband Jonathan, and Tara Pelkey and her husband David; her grandchildren, Gage Gadbois, Chris Rocheleau, and Monique Rocheleau; her brother, Donald Hopkins and his wife Carol; as well as nieces and nephews: Jim, Debbie, Mark, Judy, and David Hopkins. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Francis E. and Doris M. (Lundquist) Hopkins.
Born in Worcester, she was raised and educated in Auburn. Patricia worked for many years in the Auburn Public school system, Worcester State Hospital, and various retail chains in customer service.
In her free time, she loved taking trips to Jamestown, RI, Poughkeepsie, NY, and Kittery, ME. Patricia loved animals, big and small, and spending time with family and friends – she will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MSPCA-Angell Attn: Donations 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston MA 02130.
