Ronald Charles Giuliana passed away on February 4 in Worcester after a short illness. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph C. and Rose (Sperrazza) Giuliano and sister, Lydia Boyd.

Born in Boston, Ron grew up in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston Latin and Boston University. An Auburn and Worcester resident, he worked for many years in finance before switching careers to open Spoodles at the Tower Restaurant in Worcester. Ron was a longtime member and former President of Rotary in Auburn. He was an accomplished Latin dancer and enjoyed scuba diving throughout the Caribbean. Above all, Ron loved to cook and entertain, and enjoyed bringing laughter to those around him.

He is survived by his brother Robert Giuliana, of Portland, ME, his sister Constance Tuttle of West Lebanon, NH; his three sons and their families, Douglyss and Michelle Giuliana of Wilmington, Dana Giuliana and Dr. Rachel Latta of Melrose, and Derek Giuliana and Jill Anderson of Ashland, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Worcester Art Museum (Development Office, Worcester Art Museum, 55 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609 or via portal.worcesterart.org/give).

I worked with Ron for many years at Bowditch & Dewey. He was a wonderful man, pleasant, easygoing, supportive, and funny. We had many great talks. He loved working with people. I am so sorry for his passing, and I extend profound condolences to his family.
