Obituary for Ronnie J. Grandmaison
Ronnie J. Grandmaison, 51, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
Born, raised, and educated in Auburn, Ronnie was one of four sons of Rene A. and Theresa (Paquette) Grandmaison, of Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1987, where he was a student athlete in both baseball and basketball. Upon graduation, he began his career working at the former Digital Equipment Corporation in Hudson, which then became Intel, for over 25 years. Most recently, Ronnie was working for Insulet Corporation in Acton.
In his free time, he loved spending time outdoors, whether it be camping, boating, or going to his favorite place, Cape Cod.
Along with his loving parents, Ronnie leaves his two children, Ronnie M. and Rachel M. Grandmaison; his brothers, Rene J. Grandmaison and his wife Maureen, of Biddeford, ME, Randy J. Grandmaison and his wife Melissa, of Webster, and Ryan J. Grandmaison and his wife Faith, of East Brookfield; his close friend, Susan Curtis, of Webster; his best friend and faithful pup, Lucky; along with several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, 01606 (worcesterarl.org/donate/).
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Grandmaison family from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, where masks and social distancing measures will be required. Services and burial will be held privately.
