Obituary for Guy A. Girard
Guy A. Girard, 69, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
He leaves his beloved wife, Marjorie E. (Harmon) Girard; his mother, Rachel M. (Beaudoin) Girard; his children, Kimberly Hobb and her husband J.D., of Louisiana, Eric Girard and his wife Tenisa, of Worcester, and Raymond Girard, of Cape Cod; his stepson, Joseph L. Berthiaume and his wife Stacey, of Dudley; his grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, and Ian; his step-grandchildren, Nicholas, Timothy, Lindsey, and Steven; a great-granddaughter, Ivy; his sister, Denise Sullivan and her husband William, of Cape Elizabeth, ME; and his nieces, Elizabeth, Katherine, and Anna Sullivan. Guy was predeceased by his father, the late Maurice J. Girard; and his stepson, Kristopher Berthiaume.
Guy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to Rachel M. (Beaudoin) and the late Maurice J. Girard. He had an extensive career as a Machinist for several manufacturers in the Worcester area, for many years.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and bird-watching. Guy also loved to cheer on his favorite football team, the New England Patriots.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the Girard family between 1 – 2 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, followed by a prayer service at 2 PM. Burial will be held privately for Guy’s family.
