Obituary for Bernadine Therese "Sarah" Robinson
Bernardine Therese “Sarah” Robinson, 94, most recently of the Notre Dame du Lac Community of Worcester, formerly of Auburn, passed peacefully into Heavenly sleep on Monday, July 11, 2022.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Dr. Richard W. Robinson and Sarah (Byrne) Robinson; her siblings, Mary E. “Betty” James, Richard W. Robinson, Jr., William Robinson, Dr. Frank Robinson, Paul T. Robinson, Sr., Dr. Bernard Robinson, Ultima MacDonald, and Margaret Mary. Sarah leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with the family of Laurie and Brian Wyse, of Rochdale, MA, and Laurie’s children, Nathan and Mandy Kubilis, of Rutland, MA, and Kyle Kubilis, of Brunswick, GA; and Laurie and Brian’s seven grandchildren. Laurie’s son James Kubilis, III predeceased Sarah on September 27, 2010.
She was born and raised in Laconia, New Hampshire, and entered the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1945, where she took the name Sr. Bernadine Therese. Sarah attended St. John’s School, Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA, and David Fanning School of Nursing in Worcester. She was a lovingly devoted nurse, attending to the elderly nuns of Notre Dame du Lac in Worcester, Notre Dame Academy in Roxbury, Tyngsboro, and Ipswich, and Our Lady of the Angels, until 1980.
Sarah was a truly devout Catholic, and enjoyed attending daily Masses. She had been a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn for many years.

All are invited to visit with Sarah’s family between 10 – 11 AM on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St. N, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, and burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
