Obituary for Ann T. (Santimore) Dvareckas
Ann T. Dvareckas, 81, of Auburn, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Her beloved husband, the late John A. Dvareckas, III, passed in 2014.
She leaves her wonderful cousins, including Nora Malinowski, Suzanne Rutzke, Beverly Schold, and Carol Danielson; her brother-in-law, Michael E. Dvareckas Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, including her neighbor, Laura Misakian and her adopted grandson, Michael Albanese.
Ann was born in Worcester, to the late Lawrence A. and Beatrice E. (Mahoney) Santimore. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School, Class of 1959.
She began her career as a legal secretary at College of the Holy Cross, later working for many local lawyers.
Ann was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Auburn, and when she couldn’t attend in person, she watched Mass daily on TV. She was a longtime member of the Auburn Lodge of Elks Women’s Auxiliary.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Dvareckas family from 10 – 11 AM on Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street N, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11, with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
