Obituary for Jane M. (McLear) Lovely

Jane M. (McLear) Lovely, 68, of Leicester, passed away after a long battle with an illness on Monday, December 19, 2022 at home, with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Mark T. Lovely, in May of 2021.

She leaves her devoted children, W. Paul Connor and his wife Tara, of Auburn, Timothy Connor and his partner Bernadette Conneely, of Auburn, and Amanda Cunningham and her husband Glenn, of Worcester; her cherished grandchildren: Landon, Cameryn, Lauryn, Addyson, Collin, and Cait Connor, Brody Sherry, and Kyle and Kailey Cunningham; her siblings, Mike McLear, Tom McLear and wife Barbara, Carol Villiers, MaryJo Demick and husband Bill, Ann Volin and husband Bill, and Larry McLear and wife Mondine; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her husband, Jane was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Edwards) McLear; her sister-in-law, Donna McLear, and brother-in-law, Jim Villiers.

Jane was born in Tupper Lake, New York, prior to moving east to the Worcester area. She was a graduate of Auburn High School. She worked for many years as an Insurance Agent for Marsh Kemp, dedicating over 20 years. Jane also worked diligently alongside her husband and her daughter for their diner, Uncle Mark’s Restaurant in Auburn.

Jane’s family meant the world to hear, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many, forever.

Calling hours will be held from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Luncheon will follow at the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post #279, 88 Bancroft Street, Auburn.
