Obituary for Jeanne L. Price
MILLBURY/AUBURN- Jeanne L. Price, 90, of Millbury and formerly of Auburn, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at UMASS Memorial-University Campus after a brief illness.
Jeanne leaves her sister, Barbara I. Forzley of Auburn; a nephew, Ronald M. LaFlash of Auburn; three nieces, Joanne C. Smith of Paxton, Nancy J. Pasquale and Christine I. Polland, both of Florida; as well as several great nieces and great nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, Milton N. Price and Isabelle (Humphries) Price and two sisters, Nancy J. LaFlash and Joanne E. Johnson.
She was born in Worcester, and was lovingly raised in Auburn. Jeanne graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School with a concentration of courses in Child Care.
Jeanne was a life- long faithful member of Saint Matthews’ Episcopal Church in Worcester and was a proud member of the Stella Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, as well as a volunteer and participant at the Auburn Senior Center for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She will be greatly missed by all, but her legacy will live on.
Relative and friends are invited to visit with Jean’s family for calling hours on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street., Auburn. Her funeral service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 695 Southbridge Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 695 Southbridge Street, Worcester, MA 01610 or Auburn Senior Center, 4 Goddard Drive, Auburn, MA 01501.
