Irene Irwin what an amazing woman. This woman a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, neighbor, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, Nana, Ma, or Irene. How she has touched us all. Wow what an amazing person.
No matter what your background, rich or poor. No matter what degree you may have, what size your house was, what you did
For a living. None of this matters, it is all meaningless if you
Did not embrace the life lessons this woman possessed. You could be one of her children, or grandchildren, or great grand children.
You could be married to one of them. You could be a friend to one or all of them. You could have just met her and you just knew
You just knew she was special. She always had time to share her home, her food, her laughter. If you watched her carefully you would hear and feel her abundant knowledge about life and how to live through anything. If you needed anything she would give it to you if she had it.
She loved her children. She was proud of each one of you. She loved your differences, she loved your sameness. You took pride in your accomplishments. She took pride in your families and friends. She kept her memories close. Nothing was more special than the time we spent with her. All she ever wanted was just that Time with all of us. Time for laughter and tears.
She loved all of the get togethers, the track, the movies, the dinners, birthday parties all of the help your gave her. All the time spent with each of you alone. She was never more lively, than when she was surrounded by her family.
She was never rich but what she gave, what she was was something short of Amazing,,,,,No she was not short.
No.. she WAS amazing. She definitely won that race.
Yes she was not my Mother. I was on the outside. But you know
That did not matter to MA. She loved me. I was loved by this
Amazing woman. She loved and gave love as if it was breathing.
We should all be proud that she loved all of us. We all had a place in that big heart of hers. She will live on in each of us, in each of our children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Never forget to laugh and laugh hard as she did many times. Never forget all the good times.
Ma I thank you from the bottom of my heart and the depth of my soul. You have taught all of us what it really means to be a mother.
You are the best ever. We will never forget you and all you gave us.
If Flowers were Mothers I would pick you every time. I am so glad I did
