Burdys Crawford
Our deepest sympathy to all friends & loved ones of Chub. He was our neighbor for several years in Vermont, on Shearer Hill. He was a joy to be around with a vibrant happy spirit. (even when our pig got into his garden, destroying most of it!) He tolerated it with humor, and helped us catch the pig! (anyone that's ever owned a pig, knows that's not an easy task!!) I was laughing so hard tears were streaming down face. Everyone stuck together back then and were always there for one another. Chub was no exception. He loaned his fancy car to my son Todd for his prom, (we all knew that was a "high risk" situation) Chub was honored to do it!(I'm happy to say the car was returned w/o a scratch) Also in later years, to help him out, he rented his house to Todd & new wife, Phyllis. Even long after, when we had all gone our separate ways, if he saw you anywhere, he was quick with a big smile, and warm hug, like there had been no time that had separated you at all. Chub was a kind & generous friend, and will be sadly missed. Our love & prayers are with you all. Burdys, Tonya, Todd, & Bo Crawford
