Barbara was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Austin and Gertrude (Adams) Gavin. She worked in distribution for Filenes Basement and Millbrook Distributors for many years. She was a much-loved patron at John’s Long Island Hotdog in Webster Square where she had coffee daily with her beloved sisters Dot and Ann.
