To Karen's Loved Ones: We have just learned of Karen's passing from old Army friends. Please accept our deepest condolences. Although brief, our friendship with Karen during the Germany Army years was rich and fun-filled. Being also of Irish descent, we enjoyed Karen's ability to find laughter in any situation, as we wives of the 2nd of the 48th Infantry sat together awainting our husbands return from "the field".
